Boris Johnson has started he is beginning plans to remove all remaining COVID restrictions in England a month earlier than planned, current regulations were due to end on 24 March. Should this come to fruition, the rules will expire shortly after MPs return from recess on 21st February.

Boris stated, “It is my intention to return on the first day after the half-term recess to present our strategy for living with COVID,  providing the current encouraging trends continue, it is my expectation that we will be able to end the last domestic restrictions, including the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive, a full month early”.

Good news for all employers,  that employees will no longer need to self-isolate.
