Training & Events
We are one of the very few employment law consultancies to offer weekly training courses – and they are free of charge to existing clients and business owners.
The courses are held at our West Yorkshire headquarters, in a modern, purpose-built Training Suite – complete with reception lounge, catering facilities and auditorium.
We also offer the advantage of ample free parking in our spacious grounds. As we are conveniently located within short easy distance to the motorway network (M62), plus local rail stations.
However, we also offer on-site training at your business premises if preferred. Simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
Our standard training courses are usually 2 hours in duration, so they can be easily slotted into your staff’s working schedules. We can also design longer courses if required, according to your needs.
Our training covers all areas of employment law, including:
- An Introduction to Employment Law and Best Practice
- Recruitment and Selection
- The Disciplinary Process
- Redundancy, Lay off and Short Time Working
- Managing Absenteeism
- Performance Management
- Avoiding Discrimination Claims
- Family Friendly Entitlements
- Working Time regulations
- An Introduction To Developing Management Capabilities
- Conducting Workplace Investigations
- An Introduction to Employment Tribunals
- Resignations and all the catches
- Developing and coaching teams
We can accommodate any size of business, so it doesn’t matter if you employ only one or two people, a few hundred, or over a thousand – we believe it’s important that all companies large or small enjoy the benefit of our training.
To keep you informed of changes and developments in employment legislation, we hold regular events, both locally and nationally. They are free of charge to all our clients and are well worth attending to ensure you are up to date on all aspects of current Employment Law.
Our events also give you the chance to meet fellow business colleagues and talk to our team of specialists.
